McAnally & Associates is a consulting firm performing services in water resources, including  hydrology and hydraulics, sedimentation engineering, navigation engineering, modeling surface water hydrology and hydraulics, and providing education and expert testimony on these topics. Our team

We are Carol Larner McAnally and William H. McAnally, assisted by colleagues with related expertise. We work in close association with Dynamic Solutions, LLC, of Knoxville, TN.

Carol McAnally

Carol McAnally serves as business manager and technical writer/editor. She has 25 years’ experience in the private and non-profit sector and is retired from the American Red Cross. Carol has published in the popular press and line-edited numerous scientific and engineering documents, including these recent publications:

Dr. William McAnally

Dr. William McAnally is a water resources engineer with 45+ years experience in hydrology, hydraulics, sedimentation engineering, and navigation engineering. He served 33 years with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Research and Development Center, where he performed and supervised research, design, and analysis of water resources projects. Bill holds the title of Research Professor Emeritus at Mississippi State University, where he taught water resources engineering and conducted related research for 12 years. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in Mississippi and a board-certified Diplomate in Coastal Engineering and in Navigation Engineering by the Academy of Coastal, Ocean, Port, and Navigation Engineers. He has published about 150 papers, engineering manuals, book chapters, and technical reports.
